After the hit song and dance of Psy’s Gangnam Style music video that traveled all around the world went viral, we had a chance to do our parody version, a wedding style. What perfect timing to do it than with the beautiful and successful couple, Jeremy and Stephani. Stephani is actually one of the cousin’s of the Lightbulb team members and a dentist, and Jeremy is an oral surgeon here in the Bay Area.
Everyone had a ton of fun working together and didn’t expect things to get so big. After this viral online release, we have been getting an overwhelming number of messages, comments, and emails from friends and media. With over 300,000 views online, the video has received national media attention across TV shows nationwide, placed on websites in several different countries, and even headlined on the home page of Yahoo.com. Fernando and Greg of Movin 99.7 NOW reached out to us to set up a live radio interview on the air so we decided to take up the opportunity.
