Voila! It’s official. Here is my first same day edit! Cut me some slack ok. lol. I must say, it is very intense and stressful. But in the end, it is all so worth it. Big shout out to the crew who held it down. Tim Nguyen, Tuan Dang & Jeffrey Kou. You guys are awesome.
For those of you who don’t know what a same day edit is, it’s when you quickly edit a video of some of the things that happened earlier that day and show it at the reception. Usually towards the end of the night.
John & Jenny are an incredible match. I was given the privilege to cover their big day. This wedding was extra special for me because Jenny is a childhood friend of mine and we’ve known each other for years. I must mention that she is the first “friend” I ever shot a wedding for. It was such an exciting experience because I sort of attended the wedding as a “guest” and also a videographer.
Although I witnessed their story through a lens, there were a few moments where things got emotional and I was close to tearing. Heh. It sometimes isn’t about the film itself, but the experience you get from it. We feel this is the only time the couple gets to sit and relax for a few minutes on their hectic day. But here’s to John & Jenny! I wish you guys the best!
